NorCal Tents for Events
I partnered with a small tent rental company in Northern California to help build their digital presence from the ground up. With no access to branding assets or digital tools, I created a custom website, launched a Google Ads campaign, redesigned their Instagram account, and developed brand visuals to increase visibility and engagement.
Website Design & SEO
I created a clean, responsive website using Squarespace to serve as the business’s primary digital presence. The goal was to make key info — pricing, contact, and service area — easy to find, while establishing trust with potential clients.
I applied SEO best practices, including optimizing metadata, adding alt text, improving page structure, and submitting the site to Google Search Console to improve visibility for relevant searches (e.g. “tent rentals in Sacramento”).
Google Ads Campaign
To increase traffic and generate leads, I ran a Google Ads campaign targeting event-related keywords in the surrounding counties.
The campaign saw a spike in impressions and clicks during the first two weekends. I monitored performance, adjusted targeting, and paused the campaign after initial test results and budget conversations with the business owner. This campaign helped me gain experience with keyword strategy, ad copy, budgeting, and performance tracking — while working within a limited spend.
Website Traffic Growth
Following launch and ad promotion, the website saw a strong uptick in pageviews.
This confirmed the value of creating a centralized digital hub where potential customers could learn about services and contact the owner directly.
I took over the business’s existing Instagram account to improve its visual consistency and credibility.
I removed outdated and unrelated posts, updated the profile image and bio, and introduced a more focused, brand-aligned content strategy. While the account is still growing, this refresh created a stronger foundation for future engagement and marketing.

Branding Assets
With no existing brand identity, I created a clean, minimalist logo and favicon using Adobe Illustrator to establish a recognizable and consistent visual presence across the company’s website, Google profile, and social media.
These assets helped bring cohesion to the business’s online presence and gave the brand a more professional and trustworthy image — essential for standing out in a competitive, word-of-mouth-driven industry.
